For the rest of this week, a cold front moving across the Central Rockies will bring showers & t-storms to WY, CO, & NM Wed-Thu while the West Coast states will see a late-season heat wave. Next week, isolated to scattered showers & t-storms develop across the West with continued mild temps. Heading into mid-month, the PNW will trend wetter and cooler.

Friday will be mostly seasonal with Spring conditions. The tide turns by Saturday with breezy conditions and clouds rolling in as a quick final storm might impact our region with an outside chance of snowfall for Mt. Baldy. Next week Spring reigns supreme!

Spring skiing conditions have prevailed across much of the West over the past several days. However, an active pattern will develop during the final days of April with the potential for late-season "powder" days at ski resorts that are still open. New snowfall will be on the denser side and snow will largely be confined to mid to high elevations.

It's my final post of the season. Light-moderate snow will continue in the Colorado Front Range foothills and mountains through Saturday morning. Peak intensity comes Friday night with some rideable pow for Saturday. Season recap of my top 10 chases. What's in store for next season?
