The storm arrived on Thursday night, and snow totals on Friday morning were 5-9 inches in the southern mountains and 2-7 inches in the central mountains. On Friday, snow will fall throughout the day at most mountains, with an additional 3-9 inches of accumulation. Then, another round of snow should deliver 2-7 inches on Saturday afternoon and Saturday night, creating powder for Sunday morning.
2-3 foot snow totals have departed the Sierra with up to 20 inches in Utah. The northern Rockies are stuck in the 5-9 inch range, with Colorado grabbing the leftovers Friday.
