NEW: Season Snowfall

You can now view and compare the Season Snowfall for any ski resort or custom location, worldwide, in OpenSnow.

The Snow Season (or Water Year) is defined as between October 1 and September 30 in the Northern Hemisphere and between April 1 and March 31 in the Southern Hemisphere.

Please note that the Season Snowfall number for any location should not be quoted by resorts or the media or used for official climate statistics. This number is calculated from resort-reported 24-hour snowfall (where available) and OpenSnow estimated snowfall and it may be adjusted to match official data. While we believe that this number reasonably approximates the season snowfall, in most cases OpenSnow does not verify this data.

1) Go to any location screen and tap the “Snow Report” tab.

2) Go to any comparison screen and tap the "Snow Report" tab.

3) Go to the "Search" tab and tap "Season Snowfall".

Make sure you're updated to the latest version of the OpenSnow app by going to either the App Store or Google Play > OpenSnow > Update.

View the Season Snowfall for any location on any device by upgrading to All-Access.
