Update

Our next strong weather-maker is making its move into Colorado on Monday morning. Periods of light to moderate snow will fall through midday as moist, southwesterly flow streams over Breckenridge. Expect temps in the teens and very gusty winds.

The snow machine will then really get cranking by late Monday afternoon and into the evening hours as strong storm energy and a very strong cold front make their way into northern Colorado. We will see a mix of light snow and periods of very intense snow through Monday night and into Tuesday morning as our primary wind direction also transitions to blowing from the west and west-southwest.

In total, look for a few inches through Monday, followed by 4-8 inches on Monday night. Tuesday morning will provide great turns but temperatures will be downright cold. Temps will be hovering at or below 0F in the morning and only rise into the single-digits throughout the day so bundle up!

Off-and-on snow will then continue through Tuesday before dry but chilly conditions prevail on Wednesday. Following the short break, snow will return on Wednesday night and we will remain locked into a snowy pattern through next weekend. I can't pinpoint any particular day to be better than another but continuous snow can lead to very soft conditions on the hill. Daytime highs will remain in the teens so get ready for a chilly and snowy week ahead.

Thanks for reading and stay tuned!
