Update

After receiving 5 inches on Monday/Monday night, we picked up another inch on Tuesday for a storm total of 6 inches. This is on the lower end of what we were expecting but still a solid refresh as we head into another storm cycle over the next four days.

The big story on Tuesday and now on Wednesday morning is VERY cold temperatures. It is currently -6F at mid-mountain and -13F on the summit of Peak 8. The rising sun will help push temps into the teens by midday Wednesday but make sure to put on an extra layer (or two) if you're skiing this morning.

After a dry day on Wednesday, our first of three rounds of snow through the upcoming weekend will begin on Wednesday night. Light to moderate snow will fall through Thursday before mostly dry conditions settle in again for Thursday night and Friday.

Our second round of snow will then follow on Friday night and into early Saturday morning. Winds from the west and northwest should produce periods of moderate to heavy snow and 2-4+ inches for soft turns on Saturday morning.

Mostly dry conditions follow through Saturday and into Saturday evening before storm #3 pushes in for Sunday. This also looks good, with another 2-4 inches possible by Sunday evening.

We should then be looking at a longer dry period from Sunday night through Tuesday ahead of yet another system for the middle of next week.

Thanks for reading and stay tuned!
