Enjoy soft turns on President’s Day morning with seven inches on the snow report and five of those inches falling after the lifts closed on Sunday afternoon. Winds could be gusty near the summit, so you’ll likely find the best snow on the front-side groomers that are protected from a northwest wind by the trees, and also potentially in the trees themselves on the front side. Keep in mind that south-facing slopes will have a hard crust under the new snow, so ski cautiously at first to find out which slopes have a crust and which do not.

Looking ahead, snow showers could continue to fall on Monday and Monday night, adding a few inches of new snow during each time period. This should keep the snow surface soft through the day on Monday, and Tuesday morning should also ski quite well. Tuesday and Wednesday will be dry, then the next storm will bring about 2-4 or 3-6 inches of snow from Thursday midday through Thursday night.
