Intense Storm Hammers the Southern Alps
Summary
A series of strong storms is bringing very heavy snowfall to parts of the Alps and Pyrenees, and that will continue through the early part of next week. Most of the Alps will get in on the action to some degree, but the southern Alps in Italy will be hit hardest. Once this storm wraps up on Tuesday a break in the action is expected for the rest of the week.
