Heads up, there may be fresher snow! Read the latest Grand Targhee Daily Snow

Update

We have another 6 inches over the past 24 hours, with 3 inches coming after the lifts closed on Friday night. Last night officially put the Ghee over 300 inches since October 1st and that will only continue to climb over the next few weeks!

Light to moderate snow will now fall through Saturday afternoon before the snow machine cranks back up to full pow(d)er on Saturday evening. This next weather-maker will be driven by strong and moist southwesterly flow. This isn't an ideal wind direction for us but this system is very strong so I don't see us having any issues. Heavy snow will fall through Saturday night and into Sunday morning before light snow takes over through Sunday night. In total, look for yet another 5-10+ inches through Sunday.

Mostly dry and cold conditions will then settle in through the middle of next week. Daytime highs will only be in the single-digits to low teens, with overnight lows hovering near 0F.

Our next decent looking storm or series of storms will follow over next weekend, February 24th and 25th, with the active pattern continuing through at least early March.

Thanks for reading and enjoy the pow!
