Wow…February coming in like a LION!

Summary

Over the last 24 hours every ski area/resort in Montana reported fresh snow! As predicted, areas along the MT/ID border received the most with 6” at Lost Trail and 5” at Lookout. East of the Divide, Red Lodge led the way with 5” and Great Divide with 4”. Just about everybody else in the state received about 3”. In the next 7 days Montana will be on a roller coaster ride of cold and warm winter weather systems with well over a foot (total storm accumulations) at some areas on both sides of the Continental Divide…
