Powder Sunday across Montana – mixed bag for next week.

Summary

Last Day Celebrations at many ski areas today (Sunday) across the Big Sky made even better as 6” or more of cold powdery snow blanketed just about all of Montana’s mountains overnight. Big Sky picked up about 6-10” in the last 2-days and Whitefish, with 6” new overnight, made this season’s cumulative snow total of 407” the second most in the last 20 years. Red Lodge, Discovery, Great Divide and Snowbowl all ranged from 5-8” in the last 24-hours. All resorts West of the Divide will close for the season at the end of today with only three resorts East of the Divide (Big Sky, Great Divide, and Red Lodge) open into Easter Sunday.
