Snow in the forecast for Northwest, Rockies, Northeast

Summary

Snowfall across the US and Canada is about to pick up as we close out October and enter November. First up will be the Northwest and Northeast as both regions will receive snow this weekend. Then next week, the storm over the Northwest will dive into the central Rockies with snow and cold air, and the storminess could hang around the Rockies through the first few days of November.
