Vail Daily Snow

Heads up, there may be fresher snow! Read the latest Vail Daily Snow

Vail is sitting at about average in terms of snowfall for the season, though the snow will take a little hiatus here over the next week or two as most of this time we will see sunny skies and warm temperatures with highs in the 30s and even into the low 40s. It’ll feel like spring during some afternoons, so don’t forget to apply sunscreen and dress in layers as any morning chill will quickly give way to comfortable temperatures.

During the next two weeks, we’ll see two chances for snow. The first will be from a weak storm around Sunday 2/14 or Monday 2/15. Then a few days later, a potentially more significant storm could bring snow to Colorado around Friday 2/19. This second storm is a long way out (~12 days), so my confidence in the forecast is low. Stay tuned for daily updates with more details as the storms move closer!
