Heads up, there may be fresher snow! Read the latest Winter Park Daily Snow

Update

Snow started falling on Sunday afternoon and both the mid-mountain snow stake show about 9 inches as of 400 am on Monday morning with an additional 2 inches falling before the stake was cleared on Sunday afternoon. That brings the total to 11 inches. You will find soft snow on Monday morning and there could be a few additional inches that accumulates by noon, so get out and enjoy!

Tuesday and Wednesday should be on the drier side with just a few snow showers roaming around.

Then from later Thursday through later Friday, a storm with lots of moisture and warm temperatures should hit Colorado. The warm temperatures may allow for raindrops to fall below mid-mountain, and near and above mid-mountain we could see 3-6 inches of snow during this time.

We should see a break in the precipitation sometime over the weekend, then another storm or two should bring chances for snow from later in the weekend through early next week, and these storms should be colder with snow down to the base.

Thanks for reading and stay tuned for an update each morning!
