Second Day of Winter?

Update

Saturday’s Solstice delivered near record high temps across Montana and Big Sky was no exception. Daytime high temps will once again rise into the mid to upper 30’s at 8000’ today. And yep, south winds will be a repeat of the last several days in the 20-25mph range. Clouds will be a bit more evident today but the sun will peek out here and there in the afternoon hours. Looking ahead, Monday will be a little less breezy with south winds from 12-18mph through the day with mixed clouds and sunny breaks and a high of 33 (8000’). Clouds move in Tuesday with snow showers but no measurable precipitation looks likely with the daytime high at 8000’ around 38 degrees. Christmas Day will see a few morning snow showers but looks to be mainly a cloudy day with colder temps with daytime highs in the mid 20’s. Still nothing as far as measurable snow appear in any of the long term models through Saturday. Maybe an Ullr sacrifice is needed!
