Santa Needs Freshies

Update

For the first time in close to two weeks I actually have measurable overnight snow to report! As of 8AM the Challenger snow stake reads 2” and it’s still coming down. A Winter Advisory is in effect until 10pm Christmas Eve for continued snow with another 2-4” likely through the day with possibly more in the alpine and north facing ridge tops. Today’s high at 8000’ will be around 24 degrees with increasing south winds in the 20-25mph range by this afternoon. Christmas Day will see scattered morning snow showers but looks to be a mostly cloudy day with colder temps with daytime highs in the low 20’s. Sunny skies with a few clouds will take over once again Thursday through at least Monday. Still nothing looking down the pike as far as the storm track goes on the long term. I’ll keep you updated. Think Snow!
