TGIF Forecast

Update

As of 8am Friday morning no new snow has fallen overnight with just a few clouds evident over Lone Mountain and a temperature of 18 degrees in the village. Today expect a mix of sun and clouds with a high temperature of 31 degrees at 8000’.  Winds will be light to moderate out of the SW at 10-15 mph with gusts to 20mph. Clouds will start increasing in the late afternoon in advance of another small system that looks to drop a few inches (1-3”) Friday night.

Over the weekend, weak high-pressure tries to build but will have a few overriding disturbances bringing a mix of cloudy skies, snow showers and some sunny spells as well, especially on Saturday. Daytime high temps at 8000’ across Big Sky will continue to be in the low 30’s through the weekend as well with light to moderate SW winds. The disturbance that rolls through Sunday afternoon into Sunday night looks to bring another 1-3” to the mountain(s). After a dry Monday more unsettled weather kicks in for the rest of the week but no big storms on the horizon.
