Update
Snow Conditions
5 inches over the past 24 hours.
Breck's official snow report shows 405 inches so far this season and a base depth of 87 inches.
Our internal analysis has the snowpack currently sitting at 133% compared to the 30-year average.
Terrain Update
7 of 35 lifts, 58 of 187 trails, 53% open. Latest updates.
This Week & Weekend
The weather maker from the past two days will move out of Colorado on Tuesday. We'll then be in for mixed periods of sun, clouds, and chances for high-elevation showers through the rest of the week and into the upcoming weekend. Mid-mountain temps will rise into the 40s each day. Wednesday and/or Thursday will likely provide the best chance to catch mostly clear skies over the next week.
Next Week & Beyond
Other than the high-elevation snow showers adding a few inches here and there, we will be watching next Monday, April 29th, for a decent shot at steady precipitation. Warm temperatures will likely keep the snow level above the town of Breckenridge but keep an eye on early next week for soft high-elevation turns.
Beyond next Monday, there are no significant changes in the pattern so expect much of the same with mild temps and continued chances for high-elevation showers.
As always, keep an eye on our 3-day hourly forecast and 1-10 day forecast for Breckenridge as the forecast continues to evolve.
And even though Breckenridge will remain open through May 27th (conditions depending), my final daily update for the season will come on Wednesday (4/24).
