Season Recap
Breckenridge will end the 2022-2023 winter season of November through mid-April with 286 inches.
We only caught a handful of double-digit powder days this season but the snow was consistent and we tracked right along the historical snowpack compared to the 30-year average.
As of April 17, 2023, the snowpack sits at 85% compared to the 30-year average (via nearby SNOTEL sites), with only the month of January coming in above average.
The following Base Depth vs. Average graph is updated daily on OpenSnow and available to All-Access subscribers for every ski resort in Colorado.
Simply click the "Snow Report" tab on any location screen.
Even though Breckenridge will stay open through the rest of April and into early May (snow-depending), this will be my final update of the 2022-2023 ski season.
I hope that you have a wonderful spring, summer, and fall, and I look forward to seeing you back here when the Breckenridge Daily Snow resumes on November 1, 2023.
Thank you so much again for your continued support of OpenSnow!
