Snow Early Next Week Favors Northern BC

Summary

Sunny and dry conditions will prevail on Friday and Saturday with increasing clouds and isolated flurries Sunday. The next storm will bring heavy snow to parts of Northern BC on Monday and Tuesday favoring the Coastal Mountains such as Shames Mountain with 30-60 cm, while Southern BC (most ski areas) receive only light amounts. Westerly flow will favor periods of light/moderate snow during the middle of next week, with a stronger storm possible toward the end of the week for the southern half of BC.
