Good Snow for Revelstoke, Next Storm Arrives Thursday Night

Summary

Snowfall has been on the lighter side of the forecast so far, except for Revelstoke who is reporting an impressive 36 cm (14”) over the past 48 hours! Elsewhere, storm total snow reports have been less than 12 cm (5”). Light snow has persisted across the Interior through the day on Wednesday and will taper off Wednesday evening. Attention then turns to the next storm that will bring snow to BC from Thursday night through Sunday morning. Warm air will result in rain for Coast Range resorts below 1500 meters, while Interior areas will see better snow through the weekend with Sunday morning looking like the best time for powder turns.
