Another Active Week Ahead

Summary

Rain and snow along with warmer temperatures will continue across the Coast Range through Monday afternoon with Whistler’s upper mountain the best bet for fresh snow. Another storm will arrive Tuesday with lower snow levels and moderate to heavy amounts for the Coast Range, while the Interior will generally see light amounts. A stronger storm will then bring more snow on Wednesday and Thursday with very heavy amounts for the Coast Range along with moderate to heavy snow for the Interior. Wednesday will be the best time to ski/ride powder for the Coast Range areas before warmer air and rising snow levels arrive Thursday. Across the Interior, the best skiing will occur on Thursday as most of the snow will hold off until after lifts close Wednesday night. An active pattern will continue through next weekend (January 25-26th) with additional snow likely just about every day, though snow levels could remain fairly high for some areas.
