British Columbia Daily Snow
By Alan Smith, Meteorologist Posted 4 years ago March 17, 2020
Most ski areas have closed as of Tuesday
Summary
Most of the major ski areas in British Columbia are now closed in order to fight the spread of the COVID-19 virus, with only a few smaller locations remaining open as of Tuesday afternoon, March 17th. In spite of the closures, I will continue to write the BC Daily Snow through mid-April to support backcountry skiers and snowboarders. As for the weather, a dry pattern with warmer temperatures will remain in place through the end of this week, before storms start to return to BC during the final week of March.
