Heavy snow for higher elevation areas on Tuesday

Summary

A strong storm is underway with the heaviest snow totals as of Tuesday morning including 23 cm at Red Mountain and 22 cm at Whistler and Manning Park. Heavy snow can be expected for high elevation areas through Tuesday night but high freezing levels will result in rain issues for some areas. A cold front will arrive early Wednesday with good backside snow for the Interior and especially Fernie.
