Big storm cycle ahead for Coastal & Interior BC

Summary

Snow totals over the past two days were heaviest over the Kootenay Boundary, favoring Whitewater, Red Mountain, Mt. Baldy, and Fernie. A strong and slow-moving storm system will arrive this weekend with the heaviest snow for Coastal BC on Saturday-Sunday, and Interior BC on Sunday-Monday. Freezing levels will remain low with deep conditions expected. Northern BC will see less snow with this cycle.
