Winter pattern begins on Friday

Summary

This fall has been unseasonably warm and dry, but that is about to change in a big way as a much colder airmass takes hold starting on Friday and continuing through the end of October. The storm door will also open with frequent storms arriving starting on Friday. Snow levels will fall to mid-mountain or lower at most ski resorts.
