Blackcomb Opening Day Powder, Another Storm Coming on Friday

Summary

Whistler-Blackcomb scored deep totals from the midweek storm & Blackcomb opens for the season today! We will be in between storms on Thu but light snow showers will continue. The next storm arrives Friday with heavy snow favoring Whistler & Mt. Washington in the Coast Range, and Fernie & Whitewater in the Interior. Weaker storms will bring additional light/moderate snow over the weekend.
