Dry and Mild / Storm Likely for Next Weekend

Summary

A ridge of high-pressure will keep things dry until Thursday when a shortwave disturbance and cold front will bring chances of light snowfall amounts at Sunshine and Louise. The weekend ahead looks interesting as a few of the weather models are favoring a fairly organized Pacific storm system to move through southern BC and into the Rockies for Friday PM thru Saturday PM time frame.
