Dense Powder Alert 12-20 Inches CA. 9-16 inches North Central Rockies.

Summary

Models are increasing snow totals for the west from Thursday to Friday night. The Sierra grabs 2 feet above 8,000 feet. I'm watching for some decent numbers in the Tetons and perhaps areas of the Wasatch. Winds and temperatures will likely provide quality deficits; cold air on the backside might bring some light-density dessert coatings. CA/ID/WY/UT are focus points with MT wildcards.
