Southern snow Friday, next storm arrives Sunday

Summary

Friday will be cold with at least a few inches of snow in the southern mountains, then Saturday should be dry with slightly warmer temperatures. Sunday will be warmer yet and snow should arrive by the afternoon. Expect 2-8 inches from Sunday afternoon through Monday, so New Year’s Eve day (Monday) should offer soft turns. After that, we’ll likely need to wait until at least January 7th for the next storm.
