All ski areas are closed / Saturday morning update

Summary

STATUS: All Colorado ski areas are closed. WEATHER: Friday brought snow showers to most mountains and snow accumulations ranged from a few inches to 6+ inches at mountains that were lucky and were hit by short-lived, intense squalls. Saturday and Sunday will bring more showers with a few inches of accumulation each day. Sunday afternoon through Monday midday will be a brief period of dry weather. Then from Monday evening through Tuesday morning expect a storm with 4-8 inches of snow. A second storm should bring more snow from Wednesday through Friday morning. After that, our weather pattern may switch to drier and warmer weather the majority of the time into early April with fewer chances for storms.
