Two chances for high-elevation snow in the next week

Summary

August is almost over and the atmosphere is ready to shift into autumn mode. We've already had snow on the peaks, and there will be two more chances for high-elevation snow on Monday night (Aug 31 – Sep 1) and again next Monday or Tuesday (Sep 7-8). These will NOT be major snowstorms, nor do they signal anything about the upcoming winter, but we'll take the flakes!
