Bit of a Friday morning surprise, then chilly with some snow next week

Summary

Thursday was mostly dry with a few snow showers, then on Thursday night, a trailing piece of storm energy brought light snow to some mountains with a deeper surprise at a few central mountains. Looking ahead, the weekend will be warm, and then next week will be chilly with chances for mostly light snow early in the week and late in the week.
