Storm arrives Monday night

Summary

Expect light snow accumulations on Monday, then heavier snow on Monday night through Tuesday. The southern mountains will be favored with 12-24 inches through Tuesday night. The central mountains should be in the 8-16 inch range with 6-12 inches in the northern mountains. There is plenty of upside potential with this storm, mostly from a cold front that will stall over the state. The best powder days will be Tuesday and again Wednesday morning in the northern mountains. Following this system, we’ll see dry weather in Colorado for most of the first 10 days of March.
