Fresh snow

Summary

Snow fell on Friday night, and we'll see more chances for snow through Monday.

Update

Friday was a mostly dry day, then on Friday night, a few intense snow showers juuuuuust missed the mountain. We saw 1 inch accumulate at mid-mountain, which is about as poorly as we could have done from this first round of snowfall. Bummer, but so it goes, and we knew going into Friday night that the showers would be hit-or-miss.

On Saturday, a round of potentially steady snow could deliver a few inches during the morning and midday, then we should see snow slack off on Saturday afternoon and Saturday night.

On Sunday, yet another round of snow should deliver at least a few inches of accumulation, especially during the midday, afternoon, and evening. I have low confidence in the exact snow totals, but Sunday afternoon could be soft and fun if this late-day snow comes to fruition.

On Monday, there should be fun (soft) conditions in the morning thanks to the snow that could fall on Sunday evening, and there may be lingering snow showers during the day with a little bit of additional accumulation (again, low confidence).

Storm total snowfall from Friday night through Monday morning should wind up getting to 8 inches, which is the low end of the range that we talked about going into this storm, though with the low snow total on Friday night, these next few waves of snow will have to come through for us.

Tuesday will be dry and a break into between storms.

On Wednesday into Thursday, the next storm will bring snow, and powder will be possible on Wednesday afternoon and more likely on Thursday morning. We'll discuss more details about this storm in another day or two when it's just a bit closer.

Thanks for reading and please check back each morning for daily updates!
