Copper Mountain Daily Snow

By Joel Gratz, Founding Meteorologist Posted 3 years ago March 7, 2022
Three days of snow
Summary
Snow fell on Sunday, and Monday will be another soft day.
Update
Sunday started dry, then a burst of snow during the late afternoon dropped 7 inches in just a few hours, which made the afternoon and last chair super soft and fun.
During the day on Monday, we will see snow showers continue with anything from a dusting of snow to a few inches of accumulation.
On Tuesday, we should see mostly dry weather, though some snow showers could sneak in as the next storm heads toward Colorado.
On Wednesday, we'll see a better chance for steadier snow during the late afternoon with an outside chance for some soft snow/powder by the time of the last chair.
On Wednesday night, the snow should be intense for a time and then will wind down by Thursday morning. Thursday morning should be time to enjoy the most powder. The snow total from this midweek storm should be 4-8+ inches.
Following very cold temperatures from Thursday into Friday (daytime highs in the single digits), we'll warm into the 20s on Saturday and Sunday before another storm likely brings more snow on Sunday night into Monday.
Thanks for reading and please check back each morning for daily updates!
