On Wednesday night, the next storm moved into Colorado. As of 3 am on Thursday morning, snowfall was 2-3 inches overnight at mid-mountain.

Snow is still falling, so there will likely be more snow than these numbers when lifts start spinning on Thursday. Snow should wind down by Thursday mid-morning.

Friday and Saturday

These days will bring 4-8+ inches of additional snow, but the big story will be the wind. Wind speeds will be fast on both days and this could cause issues with lifts, difficult driving due to low visibility, and funky snow conditions.

Saturday Night to Monday Night

This part of the storm will bring intense snow and slower winds. We should see 10-20+ inches. On Sunday, rising temperatures from Saturday night could make for imperfect powder conditions. Monday could be great snow quality with lighter winds and cooling temperatures.

Tuesday and Wednesday

Both days should be dry. Tuesday could have soft leftover powder in the morning.

The Next Storms

We'll see more snow from Wednesday night through Friday, January 17-19. And after that, another storm will be possible around January 23-25.
