New snow on Thursday morning

Summary

Snow fell on Wednesday night, and we'll continue to see snow showers on Thursday. Friday to Sunday will be dry, and then an intense storm will bring snow next Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.

Update

Wednesday Night

Wednesday's weather was mostly dry, then on Wednesday night, the storm finally tracked over Colorado. As of Thursday at 5 am, the overnight snowfall total at mid-mountain was just about 1 inch...but at least it's something:-)

Thursday

Thursday morning will start with the 1 inch of new snow that fell on Wednesday night, and scattered snow showers during the day may add some additional new snow to this total. The high temperature will be near 20°F.

Friday, Saturday, Sunday

Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (February 23-25) will be dry and mostly sunny. Friday's high temperature will be close to 20°F, and Saturday and Sunday will be warmer with a high temperature of around 30°F.

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday

An intense storm will bring snow to Colorado on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday (February 26-28). On Monday, we may see some fresh snow by the last chair, Tuesday will bring gusty winds and intense snow with free refills during the day, and Wednesday morning will be cold with snow ending and lots of soft snow and potentially untracked powder if the snow continues to fall on Tuesday night. Total accumulations should be 8-14 inches and I'll refine the details of the forecast during the coming days.

Longer Range

We will see dry weather from Wednesday, February 28 to Saturday, March 2. Then another storm may arrive at some point between Sunday, March 3, and Friday, March 8, though at this point, I have zero confidence about the weather details for that week.

My next update will be Friday morning.
