Copper Mountain Daily Snow

Heads up, there may be fresher snow! Read the latest Copper Mountain Daily Snow

Tuesday should offer dry weather, and then the next storm will arrive on Tuesday night and continue through Thursday. During this time, I think the heaviest snow could fall during the day on Wednesday and perhaps continue into Wednesday evening. This should mean that the most powdery ski conditions will be on Wednesday afternoon or first chair on Thursday morning. This storm will bring with it winds from the northwest, which is a good wind direction for Copper, unlike the southwest winds that skunked our snowfall on this past Sunday night. Unfortunately, it does looks like the storm that will impact Colorado during this upcoming weekend will bring back the southwest winds, so I'm keeping the weekend snow forecast low for Saturday and Sunday due to this factor.
