Saturday Recap

Saturday was dry for most of the day, then on Saturday night, the next storm delivered about 1 inch of snow at mid-mountain.

Sunday (March 30)

Sunday morning's conditions will be somewhat soft for the first chair. Lingering morning showers and clouds should dissipate, and then showers may return during the afternoon. The high temperature will be around 30°F.

Monday (March 31)

Monday should be dry with partly cloudy skies and a high in the 30s.

Tuesday & Wednesday (April 1-2)

The third storm in the sequence should bring 5-10 inches of snow from Monday night through Tuesday night, and with some luck, there's a chance for up to about 12 inches of accumulation.

This means that Tuesday will start with some powder and conditions should get deeper through the day.

At least some additional snow should accumulate on Tuesday night, which should lead to soft/powder conditions on Wednesday morning's first chair.

This storm will be cool, with temperatures in the teens and 20s, so the snow quality should be reasonably fluffy.

Longer Range

I think Thursday and Friday (April 3-4) will be mostly dry with just a few showers and high temperatures in the 20s.

Then, during the weekend of April 5-6, a storm will track to the south of Colorado, and this likely means that there will be little new snow at Copper.
