Forecast

The mountain is open through May 11th, so the season is not over!

And the atmosphere doesn't think the season is over, either.

  • A storm on Sunday Night (April 27) dropped 1-2 inches of snow on the mountain, and the temperature is in the 20s on Monday morning.

  • The next storm will bring snow on Wednesday night and/or Thursday morning with 2-5+ inches of accumulation and maybe some soft snow and/or powder on Thursday morning.

  • Early next week, a storm will likely bring more snow around Monday, May 5, to Wednesday, May 7. At least a few inches of snow is possible, and amounts could be significant if the storm happens to set up just right.

Other than these storms, most days will bring a mix of partly sunny skies and showers, with high temperatures in the upper 30s to low 40s.

If the upcoming storms stay in the forecast, I will write periodic updates into early May.
