The next storm is on the doorstep! Look for some snow to accumulate during the day on Wednesday, but this will be ‘bonus’ snow as temperatures will be warm and this won’t be the the most favorable part of the storm for Copper. From about midnight Wednesday night through early afternoon on Thursday we’ll see more favorable conditions for heavier snow, including colder air and a wind from the west and northwest. Between Wednesday morning and Thursday afternoon, total accumulations should be around 4-8 inches.

Then after a brief break on Thursday evening, another couple of inches should accumulate from Thursday night through Friday afternoon. The weekend will be dry, then we’ll see another storm next Tuesday and Wednesday, which will be a perfect lead in to opening day on Friday, November 13th!
