Copper Mountain Daily Snow

Heads up, there may be fresher snow! Read the latest Copper Mountain Daily Snow

By Joel Gratz, Founding Meteorologist Posted 9 years ago December 20, 2015

After a sunny start to the day on Sunday, we should see light snow fall on Copper on Sunday afternoon, Sunday night, and again on Monday. Accumulations during each day and night period may only be a few inches, but it will add up to soft and fun conditions by Monday.

Then moderate to heavy snow should fall from Monday night through Wednesday morning with at least 6-12 inches, and perhaps more if mother nature is extra kind to us. Tuesday should be a fun storm-skiing day with some wind and heavy snow, and there should be great conditions on Wednesday morning as the storm departs. Then we will likely see a break in the snow on Wednesday night into Thursday, with the chance for more snow from Thursday into Saturday. Stay tuned as I hope to have more confidence in the Christmas Day forecast very soon.
