Update

Snow showers persisted throughout the day on Tuesday, yielding 2 inches, and these showers will continue through the day on Wednesday as well. I think Wednesday will be a mixed day, with some snow showers, light accumulations, and perhaps some breaks of sun as well. The temperature will be chilly, with a high of around 10F, so dress warm and enjoy the soft conditions!

Snow showers and some clouds could linger through Thursday evening, and then Friday will offer lots of sunshine and slightly warmer temperatures, rising into the mid-to-upper teens.

Following a remarkable stormy weather pattern, which started in mid-November, the atmosphere is finally going to take a one-week break. Expect dry and sunny weather from Friday, January 27 through Friday, February 3.

Our next chance for a snowstorm will occur around February 4-5, and there are hints that this could be the beginning of another stormy pattern that may continue through at least mid-February.
