Update

It’ll be a cold start on Friday morning with temperatures near 0F, but we should warm up into the low teens by afternoon with lots of sunshine. The mountain operations report notes that the Tucker snowcat will be running today (Friday), so get out and enjoy that unique experience!

The forecast for the next week shows plenty of sunshine, mostly dry weather (perhaps a flurry now and again), and temperatures warming each day. Saturday’s readings should be in the low 20s, Sunday will offer temperatures in the upper 20s, and most of next week should be in the 30s by midday.

The next chance for a storm will occur on the weekend of February 4-5. I am not sure if this will be a weak storm or a stronger storm. Let’s hope for the latter, and I’ll keep you posted as the storm moves closer.
