Update
Saturday was a beautiful day with partly sunny skies and temperatures warmed to about 20-25F, which was a few degrees higher than I expected.
Now on Sunday morning, the temperature at mid-mountain is about 10F and the summit is warmer with a reading 20F. Under mostly sunny skies, I expect the temperature to rise into the upper 20s to low 30s. It’ll be a glorious day, and please remember to wear sunscreen!
From Monday through Friday, expect more of the same with mostly sunny skies and temperatures topping out in mid 30s. There could be a few more clouds and a flurry later in the week, but we shouldn’t see any accumulating snow.
Our next chance for a storm will be on Saturday and Sunday, February 4-5, though this storm looks rather week so we may only receive a few inches. Between February 5-15th, it looks like the storm track will be over northern Colorado or just a bit further north, so significant snowfall should be close by, but we’ll need to wait to figure out the details of each storm to know if that snowfall will hit Copper directly. Stay tuned!
