Quiet Weather For Now...
Summary
A quiet weather pattern could last through at least the 28th. A weak system could reach CA during the last few days of the month. Then a more active storm pattern is possible for the 1st week of February.
Update
Quiet Pattern:
The forecast models show a quiet weather pattern lasting through at least the 28th. We'll let you know if that changes.
Long-Range:
The long-range models continue to show the pattern beginning to shift during the last few days of January into the first week of February. We could see a week system make it into CA before the end of the month, and then a more active pattern is forecast for the 1st week of February.
We'll continue to watch the trends as we get closer... I may shift to less frequent posts until we have storms forecast within the 5-7 day window.
