Storms to bring substantial snow to Central, Southern Idaho for Thanksgiving
Summary
Way to shake a leg Idaho! Snow dances and prayers are being answered this week with a major potential for a substantial snowfall in Southern and Central Idaho starting today (Tuesday). Up to two feet of snow could fall on Bald Mountain in Sun Valley, where they will be skiing top-to-bottom on 10 runs with 5 lifts operating on Thanksgiving day! Southern-tier resorts Magic Mountain, Pomerelle and Pebble Creek could get hit hard, too. A Winter Storm Warning is in effect in Southern and Central Idaho through Wednesday, and then more snow is expected on Thanksgiving Day.
