Sunshine early in the week; big storm coming on Thursday
Summary
Skies will clear for some beautiful skiing and riding in the sunshine on Monday and Tuesday across Idaho after our slopes got some much-needed base-making snow over the weekend. A big storm coming out of the Gulf of Alaska should bring a major powder punch to Idaho on Wednesday night and Thursday. Up to a foot of snow is forecast to fall on Thursday at Schweitzer, Silver Mountain and Lookout Pass, while Brundage, Tamarack, Sun Valley and Bogus Basin are expected to get 5-11 inches of snow. More snow is expected to fall through the weekend statewide.
