Partly sunny Wednesday; new storm burst expected Thursday
Summary
A brief break from snow storms on Wednesday will bring partly sunny, sunny or partly cloudy skies to Idaho's ski areas, depending on location. A dusting of snow fell overnight in a few spots, on top of epic powder at Tamarack Resort and Pomerelle Mountain on Tuesday. Both locations have received 30-34 inches of snow since Monday. Lots of deep *pow* is waiting to be shredded off-trail everywhere from the 5-day storm cycle in Idaho. There's a new storm system coming in Wednesday night that will drop a few inches of new snow in most locations, while Schweitzer is forecast to get hammered with 6-12 inches on Wednesday night/Thursday. About 3-9 inches are forecast elsewhere Thursday night, setting up a sweet powder day on Friday statewide.
