First Taste of Spring

Summary

Spring fever has hit the slopes in a big way. Temperatures in the high country will be freezing each night but warming into the 40s during the afternoons. Groomed runs and hidden powder will provide something for everyone. Just remember to bring the sunscreen! There will be snow showers tonight and Sunday at the highest elevations. Otherwise unseasonably warm conditions and periods of rain will be the rule through the weekend. Another storm is anticipated Wednesday and Thursday, which is a little earlier than previously forecast. By Thursday a cold front will sweep through with windy weather and a chance of snow. Snow levels will be around 6,000 feet so that’s some good news going into next weekend. Check back for updates by mid-week.
